Fed Ex is pretty careful. Be sure to mark "FRAGILE, DO NOT DROP" on the container. Also "This side up". And be sure to insure it. You can't be too careful you know.

I opted to ship both in one box so it will be close totheir 80 pound limit. I don't think they will be throwing it around.

Well, at least we can rest assured that if someone tries to punt the container, they will pay dearly for their actions ;)

The wooden box turned out to be about 18x9x7 inches. I foamed them in place with Great Stuff Big Gap Filler. It sets up with some resilience. I took a couple of days for it to completely set up. I pulled a couple of sides off (n I had lined the box with Saran Wrap so the foam would not stick to the box) to check for voids and it seemed to fill out the box. See pictures.

Fortunately I found a large, heavy duty cardboard box that was 4 to 6 inches bigger than the inner box. I filled the voids with 2 inch rigid foam insulation
